Elsa Alvarado

Senior Vice President

Elsa Alvarado is a senior communications strategist whose career spans the Pentagon, the State Department, national political operations, and the upper tier of Democratic public affairs. She is known for steady, high-judgment counsel in the moments that matter most — crisis response, high-stakes media strategy, and the navigation of complex reputational terrain — on behalf of executives, candidates, and institutions.

Most recently, Elsa served as Associate Vice President at Precision Strategies, where she led crisis communications and integrated media campaigns for a portfolio that included Google, Visa, Abortion in America, America250, UnidosUS, and the Voter Participation Center. Before Precision, she was Director of Public Affairs at Bryson Gillette, advising Fortune 100 executives and national advocacy organizations on the sensitive reputational issues that rarely make it into a press release.

Her government service shaped the discipline she brings to private-sector work. As a Biden-Harris political appointee at the Department of Defense, Elsa was Director of Strategic Communications in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs, preparing the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense for congressional engagements and leading confirmation prep for senior Administration nominees. Earlier, she served as a speechwriter and translator for the U.S. Ambassador to Nicaragua. Elsa's political résumé includes leading foreign press operations for the 2024 Democratic National Convention, serving on the 59th Presidential Inaugural Committee, and working on the 2020 Biden for President campaign.
