Alyssa Cass on what Zohran Mamdani’s victory means for national Democrats

Slingshot partner Alyssa Cass spoke to the Financial Times about how voters across the country want politicians who can make a clean break from the “status quo” and focus on the issues that everyday Americans care about.

“We’d better listen to what voters are screaming in our faces, which is that they want real, authentic voices, they want leaders who bear no resemblance to the status quo and they want people who are fighting on the issues that are close to them, not those that are dear to the elite intelligentsia,” argued Cass.
