Evan Roth Smith on why Democrats need to put Musk’s attacks on Social Security front and center

Slingshot partner Evan Roth Smith told The Atlantic’s Russell Berman that the popularity of entitlement programs like Social Security gives Democrats a key opportunity to hammer Musk and Trump.

“This is what Democrats need to get through their heads: It’s all Social Security right now,” Evan Roth Smith, Blueprint’s pollster, told reporters during a briefing. “What Trump and Musk are doing now is far different from what Bush proposed two decades ago.”
